Throughout the film, Braddock and his family are shown walking the streets of New York and during the scenes we see examples of how people reacted and survived the Great Depression. Give two examples

when Mae and the kids took the wood of of fences to stay warm,when their son stole from the butcher shop and when Jim went to the federal relief office to get money.

After working the docs, Jim Braddock and his co-worker Mike Wilson discuss the situation of the Great Depression. How do Both of them view the situation.

Braddock thinks that they need to wait it out and FDR will fix this, but Wilson thinks that they need to fight back and fix this now.

Why does Mae send the kids away?

Mae sends the kids away because they are getting sick and they don’t have enough money to heal them.

Hooverville was a troubled place where people would protest, fights everywhere, people smashing beer bottles. very unsanitary place. they blamed the government for this happening.

He is fighting for milk, this means he is fighting for his family, for survival.

Why was the title "Cinderella Man" for the movie?

Its called "Cinderella Man" because he went from living poorly to getting a second chance at having a good life.

I learned that many people fought for their lives in order to survive.
