Other factors can also contribute to an individual’s tobacco use such as rebellion, ease of use, and boredom. A common characteristic among these factors is the idea that the use of tobacco grants an individual some type of status or desirable outcome. Another common attribute of many of these factors is the influence that the opinion of others has on certain individuals to begin tobacco use.
