Covalent Bonds:

Metallic Bonds:

is a bond formed when many metal atoms share their pooled electrons

Compound:

a pure substance that contains 2 or more elements; something that is formed by a union of elements, ingredients, or parts.

Element:

a pure substance made from atoms that all have the same number of protons; fundamental substance consisting of only one kind of atom.
